I wanted to thank you Riccardo for your help in my genealogy research. It was very successful. You were extremely well prepared and very knowledgable. I was amazed at how well you could read the old, Italian records. It was time well spent.

Hi Riccardo,

The photos of the panorama is very beautiful as well as the tall lined trees. The photo's you took to Milazzo cemetery tombstones are wonderful and I especially like your report. Thank you very much. Have a wonderful day.

Dear Riccardo,

Many thanks for the exceptional service you provided as guide and interpreter during my recent trip to Trento and Tuenno, Italy. After browsing Sal Romano’s website about Tuenno and corresponding with him about my trip, I am so happy that I used his referral for your services. It was quite obvious that you have a passion for genealogy and linking people with their relatives. We were pleased with your professionalism, impressed with your knowledge, and loved your personality. Visiting a foreign country can be quite scary, especially when one does not speak the language. However, my cousins and I felt very safe being around you and we truly enjoyed our trip.

For more than 20 years, I had a dream of visiting the village in Italy where my grandmother, Maria Valentini, was born and raised. As a child, I lived on a farm next door to my grandmother in the small town of Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania. In 1961, when my grandmother was 73 years old (I was only 7), she went home to Tuenno, Italy to visit her family. That was my grandmother’s only trip home since her arrival at Ellis Island, New York, on October 20, 1911. I still remember her telling me that one day I should go to her country to see the beautiful mountains and rolling hills.

After many years of research, I finally found the names of my relatives in Tuenno. Through the help of your service, I was able to fulfill my dream and see where my grandmother was born and raised. The highlight of my trip was meeting my long lost relatives and the surprise you gave me when I arrived in Trento, a copy of my grandmother’s baptism papers. Again, thank you so much for the wonderful experience Riccardo, the cost was well worth the expense.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Guastavino Tutwiler - 25 Jun 2007

Hi Riccardo. You are amazing.

Would you mind if I went on Gente and told everyone what an amazing job you did finding Carmeloni? I would really like to do that and maybe more people would use your services. I am very excited and thrilled with the job you did for me. Thanks again,

Dear Riccardo,

Thank you so much for your work on this! I am so full of joy that you found this atto di nascita for me. I am going to surprise my father with this. He will be so happy. It is incredible to know more about my great grandfather. I knew nothing about him. He died when my grandmother was a child. It was particularly painful for the family.... I can not express my appreciation in enough words! I will let you know what I want to look for next.

Best regards,

Good Morning Riccardo,

I was awake when your e-mail arrived. Needless to say, I was unable to think about sleep until I read the translations. I know this must sound silly, but I am somewhat embarrassed that the grammar and writing is so poor. Someone should of sent them grammar/spell check for Christmas:) All kidding aside, I don't think these people were blessed to have much of an education. Life must of been hard in every way. Boy, do I feel blessed!!!

By the way, poor Giuseppini never made it to the US. To make her life even more unbearable, her only son Tullio died young of a brain tumor.

Riccardo, I can't thank you enough. If I inherit any more documents, I will send them your way.

Have a great day!

Hello, Riccardo!

I am happy to report I have accomplished my mission in Cosenza! I have all three of the documents I need, and I have Miss Cicirelli to thank for this. As it turns out, my ancestors were NOT from Cosenza. Miss Cicirelli had done the research and found that my grandfather was from a town called Castrolibero, and my grandmother was from a town called Mendicino. They were married in Castrolibero.

Perhaps using information you had already give to her, Miss Cicirelli knew all of this information by the time I arrived in her office on Monday. She called the village officials and had the documents faxed while I waited, then she obtained the hours of operation in each village, so that I could go and collect the originals.

I have one last favor to ask. Can you please find out Miss Cicirelli's first name, her given name? I want to send along a little gift to say thank you.

Riccardo, I cannot thank you enough for your help. I could not have done this without your guidance.

I wish you all the best!

"My wife, Marjorie, and I recently had the opportunity to benefit from the accomplishments of Riccardo Bruno, whom we hired to investigate the genealogy of the Antonio Gasperetti family from Tuenno, Italy.

Mr. Bruno's research was thorough and his presentation of the material on hard copy and orally was complete and understandable. Truly, it was our pleasure to be in the company of such a fine gentleman who has command of the English and Italian languages and who truly loves his work in genealogical research.

As a young, well groomed, personable man with integrity and a skilled finder of facts, we highly Riccardo Bruno.
